Another sign that analogue photography isn't going anywhere soon is a one-day film symposium at the Photographic History Research Centre at De Montfort University in Leicester in April.
It has the interesting title of Analogue Photography in the New Media Age and is said to be about exploring and finding the balance of using and resuscitating film techniques and practices in today's digital world.
The organisers say they will be, "...covering the social and aesthetic appeal inherent in analogue, the different photographic processes readily available today and the limitations of both formats to name a few".
If you're in the Leicester area, this might be worth a look. It takes place on April 29 and more info can be had here.
