Final Printing Tweaks

That’s my tweaking at an end as far as printing on Marrutt’s velvet fine art paper is concerned. The linearisation process (see previous post) was straightforward and I don’t really see how I can make any significant improvements to the results I’m getting.

What’s coming out of the printer is very close to what I’m seeing on the computer screen. No unwanted colour shifts under different lighting and no odd, nasty tints to compromise the black and white tones.

I finished the testing with an A5 print using the cooler dye blacks and it came out very nicely. With everything dialled in to the best of my ability I can now just crack on with more A5 prints as part of my project to print little 4.5” squares. Not all prints have to be large.
