It’s the Highland Perthshire town of Pitlochry we’re visiting today - not that you’d have any clue from these wee vignettes. This isn’t really photography time but more visiting-the-tourist-spot time with wife and 14-year-old blind and deaf bichon frise dog in a kids’ buggy.
So no carefully considered compositions as such but walk-by shootings in the hope something interesting happens. And did it happen with the last shot in this post! It was a white-washed window with some reflections. The iPhone was on duty again - sorry, Phil - but this time I couldn’t really see exactly what was in frame because I had to hold the phone out at arms length to avoid getting myself in the photo.
I had a good chuckle when I saw the result - I loved it! Frankly, if I were Prime Minister, I would give honorary knighthoods to the Apple guys who designed the software behind the iPhone camera. I haven’t got enough good things to say about it.
Remember when you used to shoot colour print film and sometimes had really high hopes for certain pictures - and then you got the results back from the processors? The iPhone is the exact opposite of that.
Anyway, that’s my coffee and Victoria sponge finished so time to stop going on about technology and head off again for pastures new.
I like the colour one actually.
ReplyDeleteYou didn't say you had a pram though - what you could do, is mount iphones on top and both sides and then cover yourself in tinfoil for disguise like this video: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=iIpfWORQWhU
Who says I can't think 'modern'?
Wow! Four posts in two weeks! An absolute embarrassment of riches! Way to go, Bruce
ReplyDeleteFive now!
DeleteThis is like waiting for a bus, nothing for ages, then five at once!
ReplyDeleteI'm enjoying all of them.
All the best, Mark
